Angelique's Travel Treasures : First stop Madrid

Traveling around the world is one of my favorite things to do.  Experiencing different cultures, foods and history is what makes us as individuals able to have a well rounded view of the world which will not only help with personal development but allows for a better understanding of the world as a whole.  Diving into one of my favorite places in the world, Madrid Spain. 

Madrid has a lot to offer from the sites, food, and nightlife Madrid overall has it all.Starting with favorite restaurants in Madrid, Tiki Tacos.  Tiki Tacos was one of my absolute favorite and affordable restaurants in Madrid. With 1 euro tacos and 5 euro margaritas you are getting the best bang for your buck and personally some of the best street tacos and strongest margaritas you could ever have…be careful.  Next if you want a more fancy experience with THE BEST atmosphere you have to try Bel Mondo, located in the fashion district of Madrid. Bel Mondo has the coolest restaurant in Madrid with different rooms having different atmospheres as well as the most insane Italian food in Spain.  Shockingly enough I liked Bel Mondo more than a lot of restaurants in Italy.  They have freshly made pasta as well as homemade pizza that is to die for.  I highly recommend the classic carbonara and the cheese wheel truffle pasta, it was truly life changing. 

Lastly, going into Madrid's iconic nightlife.  Madrid being one of the top cities for nightlife in the world,  their clubs do not disappoint.   One of the most iconic clubs being Kapital which is a 5 story club that has a different theme on each floor, for example, the first floor is classic club, second floor is karaoke, third floor is reggaeton and the list goes on.  My second favorite club was Istar, Istar is a classic “boiler room” club, in other words its a smaller club with a DJ right in the middle which gives a very close and fun atmosphere.  They get some of the best DJ's in the world that play here, its really a small gem. Not only that but has beautiful decor with gold accents and an outside area for anyone that needs a break from all the fun.  Overall Madrid is one of the best places in the world that you should visit asap with these recommendations.
