Morocco is one of the most shockingly amazing places I've ever been.  Beware you will experience culture shock, but in the most amazing way.  If you do not like crowded places it is probably not the place for you but if you appreciate swap meet style shops and inexpensive experiences I highly recommend it.

Marrakech is the place to be if you want to find different trinkets, inexpensive leather bags and jewelry.  But when buying things make sure to haggle the prices.  The sellers will try to upcharge you if you are not from their so really shoot low and be stern on how much you are willing to pay because they will most likely go down in price if you are confident and my favorite term to use is “well the guy down there said they would sell this to me for x amount”, works every time.  Next I would recommend buying the spices and amber blocks that the “medicine men” sell in their booth.  The spices are like no other and last for so long, I went around a year ago and I still use some of the meat and fish spices that I got and it has flavor like no other.

In regard for activities in Morocco, specifically Marrakech is so inexpensive and world class.  I recommend going to the sunset dinner camel ride which was only $30.  With the activity you were able to see how people made different products such as lotion, perfume and seasonings as well as ride a camel in the desert, have a sunset dinner overlooking the sand dunes and a fire show.  It was truly unforgettable and nowhere around the world can you get all that for that little.  Next I would highly recommend buying an ATV ride.  This only cost $30 as well, you are able to ride ATV’s around the desert and a tea time as a break.  Moroccan tea is truly exceptional and i have not had anything better till this day.

Not only does Morocco have very cool activities but their bed and breakfasts are some of the best in the world for such little money, from 80-100 dollars a night.  In regard to food,  Any restaurant is honestly exceptional. Their food is so flavorful due to their unique spice blend so genuinely you can't go wrong. The last thing I recommend is to go to a Hammam, this is a Moroccan spa experience.  You get completely scrubbed down and massaged for two hours as well as complimentary tea for around 80 dollars but it is worth it, I still haven't been able to find a better spa experience.  The one thing I will say is be very careful and make sure you are aware of your surroundings because it isn’t the safest place, but as long as you are with a group and very aware of where you are, you should be fine.  Take lots of pictures and have an amazing time, you will never forget it!!
